It has been a while since I have done any posting! I do think that I have a viable excuse though. We just moved accross the nation and are trying to still get settled here in our new apartment and become accustomed to our new job responsibilities. We are assistant managers which helps with the housing situation while Neil will be going to school. We are really excited for him to start although for the first 6 weeks he will be in Seattle and we will miss him greatly. The kids and I are enjoying him being home all of the time right now though.
We had a great time in Utah on our way out here. We are so grateful that Dad Erickson came out and helped us move. Neil and I were quite moved by the amount of help that showed up to help us pack up our house and pack the truck. We made so many friends in Indiana and are missing them so much now. Brendan asks to play with his friend Ryan on a daily basis. In response I just ask him if he wants to fly on an airplane to get there and he lets me know that he really DOES NOT want to do that! We are grateful that we were ble to spend so much time with friends before we left though.

The plane ride out here was quite the experience. I flew out with the kids. They both did great but Brendan was pretty tired of the airplane after the first leg. When we got off the plane in Denver he informed me that he needed some candy. I gave him some right away...anything to keep these kids happy. We sat in the airport and when they called us for our next flight I said, "let's go." Brendan repeated me and was pretty happy until we entered the jetway when he started to say "No mommy. I all done with airplanes!" Luckily our second leg was only 1 hour and he fell asleep right as we were taking off. Both the kids were asleep by the time the flight was over and what was I to do then? They wouldn't wake up! I waited for everyone to get off the plane. I then deplaned and got the stroller ready and then went back on to get the kids. We found Chad waiting for us at the baggage claim. Brendan sure was happy to see
His Chad!

We had a lot of fun getting ready for Nicole and Nick's wedding. We need to make sure that we get back to Utah other than for siblings' weddings. The last time that we were out there was when Sara and Brandon got married. We really enjoy being out there and should go more often. Maybe now that we are closer!

Thanks to Doug and Pam for letting Eliza play with a kitten. She loved it! We were glad that we were able to see so much family while we were out there in Utah for the short time.
Mom and Dad Erickson helped us continue on our journey here to Washington. They really have helped us so much! Our home is getting set up, we are starting to get to know people in our complex and in our ward at church. Brendan and Eliza are becoming used to their new place. They are becoming big helpers as they help us clean the pool each morning and help daddy with the sprinklers. As I was helping Brendan go to sleep last night we were talking about Washington and his new house. He said "I like my door." (referring to his door to their bedroom). I am glad that he likes that after wanting to sleep in a bookshelf after the first night.

I am grateful for all of our many blessings. I am grateful that I have a patient husband and children that still brush their teeth even if they have to do it among boxes...And an update...for those who still may not know...we are expecting again on November 1.
I promise to be a better blogger!
