Busy!!!!

Life is so busy with trying to get everything ready for the move and still having all of my regular responsibilities as a mom knocking at my door. I try and make time to laugh and smile but at times I feel like I'm even too busy to do that.
We were able to take a trip out to Yakima and see the city that we will be moving to. We are really excited. We are going to managing apartments to compensate for Neil not working. This way we won't have to take out so many student loans...yeah! We really like the people we will be working with in managing everything and feel like it will be a good transition for our family. We will have to make adjustments for sure, but hopefully we will be happy for these next couple of years. We are so proud of Neil and his accomplishments in getting in to PA school and in finding us this place to live. But could you believe it...it was the only place we didn't take pictures of when we were out there. Oh, well!
We will miss our home here in New Castle and all of our friends that we have made. We finally got some things done to our home and it looks nice...all ready to sell. :)

I really wish we could have done more landscaping, but that will come in future homes. We did manage to finally get our rain gutters put up and then we had one gutter left over. I had Neil cut it and we made flower boxes that can sit inside our window sills. There is a really long one on our front window. I love looking out the window and being able to see the flowers and enjoy them from inside and out. Plus this helps me watch to see when they need watering. So far we haven't lost any and they are really starting to bloom. Maybe I have a greenish thumb somewhere that is starting to come out of hiding.

It was fun to be able to talk with Karl, MaryAnne, Blake, and Madison on the webcam today. I love that technology brings us closer as a family. We wish Karl good luck on his oral exam tomorrow. We know that he will do great! We love giving group hugs to the Bedke family whenever we call them. We missed talking to the Erickson family...but will have to catch up with them later on this week. Happy Mother's Day to all!!!
